Though she claims that she normally stays above the fray, actress Naya Rivera, who is best known from her role on the hit show Glee, joined the chorus of disapproval over Kim Kardashian’s ultra-revealing cover shot forPaper magazine.
She told US Weekly:
“I normally don’t. But…you’re someone’s mother…”
A source close to Kardashian hit back, telling US Weekly that Kim thought the comment was funny, and “Naya is such a copycat, always doing whatever Kim does.”
The source points out that Naya used the same hairdresser as Kardashian for her July wedding to actor Ryan Dorsey. Until April, 3 months before her wedding, Naya was engaged to rapper Big Sean, who records with Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West.
Obviously, there was a lot of mixed reaction from people around the Internet who don’t happen to be an actress on a hit TV show. In addition to the inevitable attention and applause she drew from the public, there was biting social commentary:
