Revived on Wednesday, died on Thursday, the last moments of Professor Adefuye were narrated by Mohammed Mbodj, his Chief of Security Details who was with him when he fell ill on his way to work on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Reportedly, Professor Adefuye was at his office at the Nigerian embassy, Washington, DC with no sign of distress throughout Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Speaking to THISDAY, Mr Mbodj, confirmed that "Adefuye called me early yesterday shortly after he spoke with you and a number of other people and said 'let's go to the office' and as we approached the Rite Aid Pharmacy close to the house I noticed he was shrieking. He requested we should go back to the house but I said we should rather call 911 and go to the hospital. I quickly called 911 which showed up a few minutes later in front of the Rite Aid Pharmacy and from there we moved into a hospital where he had an intravenous treatment. He came back to life joking and asking the doctors, 'what did you guys do to me?' "The doctors said 'we administered drugs on you and have been observing your progressive recovery.' They asked him: 'Who are you?' He said: 'Adefuye.' They said 'what do you do?' He replied: 'I am the Nigerian Ambassador to the US.' They asked him: 'Where are you?' He replied: 'At least this is not the Nigerian Embassy.' They asked him: 'Do you know this man,' referring to me, his ADC. He said: 'He is my brother.' They said: 'He saved your life today.' Acc ording to Mbodj, Adefuye asked if he could go home and he was told he needed some observation after an intravenous administration. At about 6pm on the same Wednesday, Professor Adefuye was said to be walking around his hospital room, playing and joking with his family members. He was also said to have eaten dinner in the presence of his visitors. According to reports, on Thursday August 27, 2015, the doctors said he developed another heart crisis around 11:30am and all efforts to stabilize him proved abortive. Mbodj continued, "t he next day (Thursday) when I arrived the Suburban Hospital for his discharge, I saw a team of doctors and nurses pumping his chest. I made enquiries and was told the seizure was back and they were working to revive him. Shortly after that, I was asked to call his wife."

Nigeria’s first IVF baby, Hannatu Kupchi has gotten admission into a Hungarian university to study medicine. Hannatu, who was born at Nisa Premier Hospital in Abuja on February 11 1998, says she wants to pursue a degree in medicine so she can also help married couple have their own children.
Hannatu's parents waited 13 years for a child before going the IVF route.
In his remarks, Mr. Hosea Kupchi, father of Hannatu, said: “We had 13 years of marriage without a child and we went through the orthodox method without any success. But along the line, my sister inlaw told me that there is one Dr. Wada that has been helping couples. That is how we came.
“Then challenges came again on how to let the world know that we have achieved this feat locally here in Nigeria. There are a lot of couples out there that are not ready to speak out. One, there is issue of stigmatisation, but I said to myself that nobody light the candle and put it under the bed.”
Also speaking, the mother who couldn’t hide her joy recalled how peaceful and understanding her husband had been even in the midst of adversities.
According to her, Miss Kupchi was the only result of a 30 years marriage.
She said that the family decided to make the birth public to declare God’s glory and also encourage other families who may have a similar challenge not to die in silence.
“There are men but this one stands out. I am grateful to God. Infertility is not a bus stop”, she said.
"God has a big hand in this. God was behind me. I want God to use me get more children. I am hoping that through me God will make people see the value of having children. I will specialize in genealogy and obstetrics. I barely made it beyond the cut off mark. God helped me. I am going to try my best and make everyone proud. I am studying medicine because I want to be a doctor. I want to study it because I want God to use me to help families who suffered what my parents went through,” she said
Georgia is a country in Europe not the state in the US. Four Nigerian students, were found dead in an apartment on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi yesterday night Wednesday April 8th. Three of the boys were students at Tbilisi State Medical University and one at Georgia’s University.
Police are saying the boys died from gas poisoning due to a faulty water heater in their apartment.
Friends of the students were worried when they hadn't heard from the roommates all day, which was unusual. They called police who broke into the students’ apartment and found their bodies. The bodies have been taken to the National Forensic Bureau.
Friends of the victims, who are Nigerians, say they want a proper investigation into what happened. They also wanted the Nigerian public to be aware of this incident. We Will bring updates on this. May their souls rest in peace, amen.
An unidentified final year female student of the Department of Library and Information Science, Delta State University, Abraka, was caught in malpractice, with micro-chips during an examination that held over the weekend.
According to reports, the final year student was caught while sitting for an examination on Entrepreneurship and Information Services.
One Sylvester Okiemute, an examiner, allegedly walked into her after having observed her suspicious moves while the examination was going on.
Sylvester, with the conviction that the student was making reference to a paper she smuggled in, asked her to hand over the paper.
The girl denied and that led to a shouting match between the examiner and the student.
As the report goes, when the examiner couldn’t come to terms with the cheat’s denial, he reportedly dipped his hands into her private part and recovered the incriminating materials, with pen prints all over her body.
A source who pleaded anonymity said: “She was earlier caught by an examiner and when she pleaded, she was pardoned. Then the examiner gave her another booklet to start again.
“It was just about 45 minutes after she started again, another examiner caught her with pieces of paper, with answers written all over her thighs,” the source noted.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Victor Peretomode, while confirming the incident, said the accused will be expelled.
“The University has declared total war on illegality and examination malpractices.“Any student, no matter how highly placed; found to be involved in examination malpractices, would be shown the way out,” Victor added.
The immediate past governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Monday, described the ongoing probe of his administration by his successor, Nyesom Wike, as a comic distraction aimed at hoodwinking the public as the incumbent governor siphons billions of naira of the State funds.
Challenging Wike to publish the statements of government accounts and other Rivers State government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) accounts as at May 29 to prove his claim and show the public that he (Amaechi) left an empty treasury for him, Amaechi insisted that he left between N8billion and N10billion in the State treasury for Wike.
In a statement Monday by his media office, Amaechi said: “ Again, our attention has been drawn to comments by the governor of Rivers State, Barr. Nyesom Wike, where he attempts to justify his fraudulent, sham probe of the immediate past governor of Rivers State Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and distort our statement on the amount of money Amaechi left in the Sate treasury.
“ No matter how hard Wike tries, the public can clearly see through his fraudulent deception and the sham he calls Commission of Inquiry to probe Amaechi. That panel was set up to indict Amaechi of corruption. Everything about the probe commission is at variance with the ethics and laws of a fair, just and unbiased probe commission.
“ Indeed, the hack panel has not disappointed its paymaster since it started its shambolic public hearings. As we earlier warned, it is a comedy to grab media headlines with bogus, phantom and fabricated claims of corrupt practices against former governor Amaechi. The public hearings have become a comedy of errors for the media. We maintain that Wike's probe commission shall not achieve anything beyond political excitements, entertainment and theatrics.
“However, what the public may not know is that Wike's deceptive probe of Amaechi is a distraction to entertain and keep the public focus on his circus show, while he siphons and salt away billions of naira from the State treasury. From the moment he stepped into Government House, Port Harcourt, Wike has run a government of lies, deception and fraud.
“He first made a show and gave a performance of his false accusations that Amaechi stripped the Governor's Lodge bare, saying that the former governor stole spoons, plates, knives, cups, mattresses, forks and even curtains from the Governor's Lodge! However, in the images Wike showed to back his lies, the curtains in the lodge were clearly there, seen and intact.
“ Wike then claimed he met a completely empty treasury. That again is another big lie and grand deception to steal state funds. We have said that former governor Amaechi left billions of naira and we even went ahead to mention the banks and give the names of the accounts the money were, as at May 29, 2015.
“We repeat that N7.5billion cash were left behind as balances in the State Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) account with Skye Bank, FAAC account with Zenith Bank, balances with Access Bank and funds in the State reserve fund account in First Bank. This is besides other balances in the state Government House account with Zenith Bank and other government Ministries, Departments and Agencies(MDAs) accounts, like the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP). Amaechi left N939 million in the Commercial Agric Credit Scheme Account in Zenith Bank. By the time you pull all these balances together, we are looking at readily available cash in the region of eight to ten billion naira left for the Wike administration. We have mentioned banks, account names and funds left in the accounts. These are facts that cannot be distorted by Wike.
“If Wike says he's not lying that he met an empty treasury, we challenge him to publish the statements of these government accounts that we have mentioned and other Rivers State government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) accounts as at May 29; to prove his claim and show the public that Amaechi left an empty treasury for him. But, we dare say, he will not because he runs a government of lies, deception and fraud, always wanting to hoodwink the public as he siphons billions of naira of State funds.
“Rather than this comedic, puerile and silly distraction he calls probe commission, Wike should explain to Rivers people what happened to the funds Amaechi left, the N30 billion naira loans he took under 30 days and other funds that has accrued to Rivers State since he became governor. Amaechi left a legacy of accountability; Rivers people expect nothing less from Wike.”
Cairo-Ojougboh The Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (South-South), Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, has said records and information at his disposal indicate that former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.) has no shares in the Centenary City in Abuja.Ojougboh, who said he has not been served with Court processes as claimed by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim, however, advised the former head of state not to allow himself to be used by Anyim, but to stand on the side of truth as it regards the Centenary City project.
This followed Abubakar’s meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Anyim and other members of the board of Centenary City Plc, where the contentious issue of ownership, funding and relocation and compensation of original inhabitants of the land to be used for the multi-billion naira project, among others, was said to have been discussed.Addressing reporters yesterday in Abuja when the Nigerian Unemployed Youth Vanguard (NUYV) paid him a courtesy visit, the PDP chieftain said his investigations revealed that retired General Abubakar was not part of the “corrupt team” but asked the former Head of State not to cover any corrupt person but push for their probe to provide the actual Change Nigerians deserve.“There is nothing Nigerians can gain from free zone, only Anyim will benefit. But sincerely, all the records and information available to me indicates that General Abdulsalami Abubakar has no share in the Centenary City”, he said.Ojougboh, however, faulted the former military ruler for allegedly allowing the relocation of a military base for the Centenary City to be cited in its place. He also reiterated his claim that Senator Anyim is the sole owner of the Centenary City, adding that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which he petitioned, was yet to respond to his allegations against the ex-SGF.National coordinator of the NUYV, Comrade Adodo Solomon, said the group would soon meet President Buhari and cry out to him to fight corruption without turning a blind eye to other issues of national importance.Solomon added that the group was ready to explore all the relevant democratic and legal means of ensuring that all corrupt people surrounding the Centenary City Project were exposed and made to face the music.

Governor Ayodele Fayose is in the news again and this time he is seen punishing civil servants who came late to work.Governor Fayose of Ekiti state today arrived at the gates of the state secretariat as early as 8:00 am to supervise the arrival of state workers to the secretariat. The governor’s visit however caught many of the workers unawares as most of them were yet to resume work at the official time of 8am.Most of them who resumed late, were seen kneeling and prostrating before Governor Fayose in remorse as they pleaded with him.
In his usual exuberance and dictatorial style, the governor threatened the workers after tongue lashing them, several of the workers took the unusual step of prostrating to beg the governor so as to save their job.
The pictures has since shocked many with many twitter users supporting the governor and the others calling him names.
Two oil workers have been sacked after a video of them having sex in a hotel room was shared online. Lee Hanlon, 32, and Amy Maxwell, 33, who are both married and met while working for Shell, recorded their illicit encounter on his mobile phone. The film was discovered by Mr Hanlon’s wife Charon, who sent it to all his contacts including friends, workmates and bosses in an act of revenge. But the footage then ‘spread like wildfire’ as more people passed it on in messages and emails. It is understood police are investigating the distribution of the video as well as allegations that Mrs Hanlon, 37, vandalised her husband’s car after discovering his affair. A police spokesman said: ‘Inquiries are at an early stage.’
Mr Hanlon, a former project engineer for Shell, is believed to have met Mrs Maxwell six months ago at the oil firm’s decommissioning plant in Aberdeen. They agreed to meet at a Premier Inn hotel earlier this month and filmed their night together.
Mrs Hanlon is understood to have found three clips a few days later when she used her husband’s phone to take a photo at a friend’s wedding.
Afterwards, she set up a group on messaging app WhatsApp and, posing as her husband, shared the footage with all of the contacts listed on his phone. She wrote: ‘Been caught cheating on wife and 8 month old baby with s*** from Shell. Anyone else up for it?’
The three clips then went viral online. Mrs Hanlon also allegedly scratched ‘cheating b******’ into the paintwork of her husband’s Audi.
But it is understood the couple, who have a young son, are still together. There was no answer at their three-bedroom £300,000 home in Westhill, near Aberdeen, yesterday.
Mrs Maxwell refused to comment last night. But she told The Sun on Sunday that Mrs Hanlon’s decision to share the video had ruined her life. ‘I don’t know how to describe all this,’ she said.
‘Everybody has seen the videos. It has ruined lives. It wasn’t an affair, it was a one-off. It was only on his phone for two days before his wife found it.’
Mrs Maxwell said she was still with her husband but that they were planning to move away from the area. Their £465,000 home in Banchory, Aberdeenshire – where they moved last April – is now for sale. Mrs Maxwell added: ‘So many people have been in touch to tell me about the video.
‘Everyone has seen the clips – apart from my husband. But he knows about them, obviously.
‘We’re still together. We were always planning to move away but this has speeded things up a bit. I’m not looking for a job just now. I decided to take some time off. I’ve had sympathy from everyone. I’ve no idea what their relationship [Mr and Mrs Hanlon’s] was like but she was obviously searching through his phone. You don’t do that without a reason.’
An oil worker told The Sun on Sunday: ‘The couple’s videos are the talk of the town – they spread like wildfire. I don’t know anyone who has not seen them. ‘
Mr and Mrs Hanlon married at a boutique hotel in South Queensferry, near Edinburgh, in November 2013.
A video of the couple’s wedding day posted online shows them posing for photographs and laughing with friends and family.
A spokesman for Shell said Mr Hanlon and Mrs Maxwell were not directly employed by the company, but were contractors hired through an agency.
She said they had since been ‘redeployed’ by the agency.

Wole Soyinka and Olusegun Obasanjo
Prof. Wole Soyinka, has revealed that he intends to feature former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo prominently in his new book, The Republic of Liars Outspoken Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has revealed that he intends to feature former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo prominently in his new book, ‘The Republic of Liars’Soyinka who stated this while responding to questions at an event tagged: “An evening with Wole Soyinka” in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, on Friday, described Obasanjo as a shameless liar whom he has no respect for.
The event organised by the telecommunication giant, Globacom is geared towards celebrating Soyinka literary feat and the launch of Glo Literary Prize for Undergraduate Students.
Soyinka said even though he appreciated the fact that Obasanjo as an individual is entitled to his opinion about him, he is nonetheless bothered because “nobody has respect for a liar”.
Soyinka while responding to a question asking him to respond to the view represented of him by Obasanjo in his memoir, “My Watch” also borrowed the language of Oyetunde Aboyade who described Obasanjo as an “Economic Illiterate”.
“Obasanjo is entitled to his opinion like everybody. But the question is: who respects the opinion of a liar? And I can prove he is a shameless liar. Like an economist once told him to his face. I mean Oyetunde Aboyade who told Obasanjo to his face that he is an economic illiterate.“So if an economic illiterate call me political illiterate, no problem. Even in the book, he told the first lie when said he deployed liars. Anybody like Obasanjo saying he never plotted third term in office, who even as a writer, I know the word to call that.“I have been talking to my publisher lately on a new work. It is titled tentatively: ‘The Republic of Liars’ and Obasanjo featured in it prominently. This is the last I would say about it,” Soyinka said.
Lai Mohammed stated that the numerous promises supposedly made by President Buhari emerged from different groups during the campaign and as such the APC couldn't be held accountable for them.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed has said that President Buhari did not promise to achieve anything within his first 100 days in office.
Mohammed said further that the numerous promises supposedly made by Buhari emerged from different groups during the campaign and as such the APC couldn’t be held accountable for them.
The APC spokesperson made the comments on Monday, August 31, 2015, while speaking on Channels TV.
“Buhari never promised to do anything in 100 days, that's the honest truth. You see, when you are running a campaign, all kinds of literature will emerge from all sorts of groups but I came here and I said there are only just two documents that you can judge a party with.”
“That is the constitution of the party and the manifesto of the party. Those are the only two documents that are registered with INEC you can go to court on or hold a party accountable for.”
Buhari’s administration has been severely criticized by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for what the opposition described as ineptitude and poor coordination despite being in office for 100 days

The story below is not my story, it's a story of a married woman living with her husband and 4 children (4 girls ) in a store room attach to my premises, where she also sales foodstuffs. Her husband works for a private security company and is attached in one the bank outside the state, he often comes around on weekends to spent time with his family. I don't know this woman well, all I know about her is that her children often comes to greet me whenever I come home and I often give them money and sometimes foodstuffs.
Yesterday, I was at home when the woman knocked on my door, when I opened the door and saw her , I was surprised what could have brought her to my house. She told me that she is sorry for bothering me but there is a problem eating her up that she wants to share with me of which maybe I could be of help. I thought it was the usual financial problem not until she started telling her story.
Below is her story:"my father is not a poor man, my father is a rich man, he is a landlord. I have an elder stepbrother who is living big in Abuja and an elder stepsister who is married to a banker living comfortably in another state. My father married my mother (an orphan) at an old age after his first wife (who gave birth to my stepbrother and sister) died. My mother passed away while given birth to me; 9years after my birth, my father died. I was left solely under the care of my step brother . When I was in senior secondary school 2 , then I was 17years old, my stepbrother brought an old hausa man and demanded I should marry him; he said the man is very rich , and that if I marry him that the man will help him grow his business and that I will never regret it. I rejected his offer, i told him that I want to finish my education first. After numerous pressures from my brother to marry the man had fail, he angrily withdrew his financial aid on me, and warned me ever to call him on phone again. I want to stepsister to complain to her, but she told me the worst thing, she told me that am not her sister, that the only connection between us is our father, and that since our father is dead, their was nothing else connecting us. She advised me to marry who ever my brother wants me to marry.""After so many trial to survive, I had to drop out from school. I had a boyfriend then(whom later became my husband) , he was young and still managing his life, he was doing business then, but the business wasn't flourishing as expected. Rather than die alone of starvation, he demanded I come live with him, which I accepted. This was how we started living together, and started bearing children.""After many years of no communication with my step brother and sister, one afternoon , my step sister surprised me with a visit, she said she was able to trace me through some friends. She apologies to me for everything and promised to help sponsor my kids in school up to university level, and to help my husband financially with a sum of 3million. Although, I was glad to see her again after so many years, but her new attitude was strange. I asked her what is behind her sudden generosity to me. She want down on her knees in tear and starting begging me to help her bear children. She said all that was needed is few eggs from my ovary. I told her that even if I accept her offer, that my husband wouldn't allow that. She told me that the process will be a secret only between me, herself and her husband, and nobody else ought to know about it. After considering the tremendous offer she made to me, I accepted to help her without my husband knowledge. Later, during the weekend when my husband was home, she visited us again, brought a lot of foodstuffs and gave my husband the sum of 20,000naira, after which he demanded that my first daughter follow her to live with them, she even promised to do more. My husband unknowing the deal behind the generosity was astonished and wholeheartedly welcomed her. He sees everything as a miracle from God." "After my husband had gone back to his work place, my stepsister and her husband came that morning to took me to a hospital , were an injection was given to me which made me lose consciousness, before I could regain myself, eggs had been collected from my ovaries and placed in a tube. The eggs were later on fertilized with the sperm of my stepsister's husband. After which the developing egg was implant into my stepsister's uterus. Everything was successful. My stepsister's husband gave me 30,000naira that day before I left the hospital. The baby started growing in my stepsister's womb, everyone was thanking God for finally given her a baby after 11years of marriage. She went for thanks given in the church. Nobody knew what happened, I kept my mouth shout as I had promised.""Few months after the implant, I called her on phone to remind her of her own part of the deal, she told me she hasn't forgotten . That I should hold on until after she had delivered. I accepted. It's three and half years now after her successful delivery of a bouncing baby boy, yet nothing had been done for me. She had brought back my first daughter staying with her , claiming she is possessed by an evil spirit and making her son fall sick all the time. I have gone to her house several times demanding she fulfills her promise to me, but she kept telling me that she and her husband had no money, that they will help me whenever they got the money. The last time I called her on phone i pleaded on her to forget about the 3million she promised to give my husband, she should just sponsor my girls to university level as she promised, she threaten to arrest me and lock me up in prison if I continue to pester her life..""Right now , am scared, I don't know what to do. I can't go public because I don't want my husband to know, he will be devastated if he finds out I did such thing. My stepsister's son is growing up, he is fair like me (whereas my stepsister and her husband are dark in complexion). Anytime I see the boy, my heart jumps, I feel like am seeing my own son which I never had. I feel like I have been used and dump." "Should I tell my husband what happened without minding how devastated he will be? Should I tell the whole world the truth of how my stepsister got pregnant without minding how it will affect the son? How can I make her pay for her wickedness toward me ? "What do you think this woman should do?
Jonathan and Madueke for probe for purchasing mobile campaign stages with NNPC funds during the last electioneering process.
President Muhammadu Buhari
The former Nigerian president, and former petroleum minister, have been pencilled for probe for allegedly purchasing mobile campaign stages with NNPC funds during the last electioneering process.According to a report by The Punch, the ongoing probe recently beamed its searchlight on the alleged purchase of three mobile stages, costing $6.9m, by the former President and two of his officials, and Diezani Alison-Madueke.
In a document obtained from a Presidency source, the report revealed that the deal, which is now a subject of investigation, was allegedly carried out with funds withdrawn from one of the numerous accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
The $6.9m (about N1.37bn) was said to have been withdrawn for the purpose of buying three pieces of 40-feet mobile stages for use by Jonathan during mass public speaking events.
The document further revealed that apart from the incredibly inflated sum for the stages, there is currently no evidence that the stages were bought since the money was withdrawn.Former Chief Security Officer to fmr. President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Gordon Obuah.
'While the cost of mobile stages ranges in sizes and designs, only outlandish rock star musicians in Europe and the US spend hundreds of thousands on their huge stages way bigger than the 40-feet stages.
'Even then, those musicians and superstars would not pay over $2m per stage, according to industry sources.
'The process of procurement of the three mobile stages was neither known to extant Nigerian laws and due process regulations nor were the offices of the Auditor-General and the Accountant-General in the know, according to the investigators,' the document read in parts.
It further added that the phony purchase was carried out late 2011 when Jonathan’s CSO was said to have initiated a memo to the former President on October 17, 2011, asking for the purchase of three mobile stages.
He was reported to have written in that memo to Jonathan that memo referred to “my earlier discussion with Your Excellency on the security implication of your public appearances and your subsequent directive on the need to procure a secured presidential platform.”
The Presidency source said on the same day, without any financial advice or purchase order reviews, the former President approved the request to buy the three stages and minuted the memo to the then Minister for Petroleum Resources.
In his minute, Jonathan was said to have written, “We have discussed this, please deal.”
According to the document, on the same October 17, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administrative Matters, Mr. , did another letter on the strength of the President’s approval requesting the minister to take action on the request to purchase the stages for $6.9m.
It added, “By the next month, an NNPC payment voucher, number 3840336, was already in place, revealing that the money was released.
“NNPC directed that the money be taken from one of its accounts in New York CITIBANK with sort code CITIUS 33, and Routing number 021000089.
“It was first routed from the US bank to an NNPC account in account number 5000026593, Maitama branch in Abuja, from where the money was sent to a private account.
“The sum of $6.9m was then credited to a account of one , Abuja, a company investigators said was registered by Obuah.
“The CSO himself, according to investigators, has not been able to show proof of the purchase and his memo irked his bosses at the SSS that he took the initiative to write requesting for the stages, an action which officials said was way above his pay grade.”
The document added that it was not the duty or responsibility of the CSO to make the determination on that purchase as he was meant to have informed the service, which will then review the situation and act accordingly.
It added that the $6.9miilion in question was promptly paid on Nov. 29, 2011 into a private account belonging to the former CSO.
“The former President approved the procurement of the mobile platforms without due process and bypassing the Procurement Act; neither was there an appropriation in the 2011 budget for such facility,” the document quoted investigators as saying.
It added that neither the then Minister of Finance nor the Director-General of the Budget Office was aware of the deal.
“Investigators say this is just one of the several instances, where the Jonathan administration used secret NNPC accounts to fund many questionable projects and for alleged personal financial aggrandisement.
“Already, the CSO has been questioned over his role and activities in the Jonathan Presidency. It will be recalled that he was arrested, detained, questioned and later released.

Former TV Judge turns himself in, begins serving five-day jail sentence
The court has ruled! Judge Joe Brown, who was once one of the most popular TV judges, is now behind bars after being ruled in contempt of court.
Joe, now a former judge, was sentenced to five days in jail for exploding on another judge during a child support case last year in Tennessee.
In March 2014, Joe, who had a successful run of his self-titled series on syndicated TV, was acting as a lawyer when he showed up in juvenile court and went berserk when the court clerk said that they had no record of the case he was working on.
In a recording from the courtroom, Joe scolds the current judge for setting another court date, "I will file a petition for habeas corpus and close this place down like I did before if you make her come back here one more time."
The judge warned Joe about his combative behavior and eventually found him in contempt of court. The sentence had been delayed for nearly a year and a half as he fought to appeal his sentence. However, after the Tennessee Supreme Court refused to hear his appeal, he turned himself in.
In a statement, he said, "I will not apologize for vigorously defending my client and demanding that the court follow the law. What I saw was a miscarriage of justice and I did what needed to be done. I will serve the time and I will continue stand up and speak out for justice as I have done throughout my 40-year legal career. When our courts don't follow the rule of law, justice is in jeopardy for everyone. Thank you to all of my supporters. Your prayers and well wishes are appreciated."
