On Thursday May 24, 2012 D’banj became the first artiste to back the London 2012 World Sport Day event.
The event on June 25 is the culmination of the main Olympic education initiatives encouraging kids across the UK to celebrate the competing nations and learn about dance, music, culture and of course sport from around the world.
D’Banj recently paid a visit to the Plumstead Manor School in Greenwich, who are the official ‘Nigeria supporting school’. As the school will be celebrating Nigeria as their chosen country, the students were excited to discuss their plans with him and in turn D’Banj was able to share tips and stories about Nigerian culture.
