The financial pot been upped for Chris Brown and Drake if they choose to settle their differences in a boxing match.
Boxing promoter Damon Feldman had offered the two men one million dollars each to square off in the ring for three rounds, but RumorFix was on hand at press conference in Los Angeles on Friday when Feldman shocked everyone by offering the winner $9 million and the loser, $1 million.
With $10 on the line, the payout would make it the biggest celebrity boxing match in history, and the money would be paid out by Alki David, a wealthy entrepreneur based out of Beverly Hills.
“The audience needs their imagination captured as much as the fighters do. These are two very important rap artists who will only do this for a big ticket number,” David said. “This is something that should be attractive enough to get them in the ring.”
“Instead of doing it in a bar fight, they can get paid,” Feldman added. The fight, if it does go down, will take place in Las Vegas

Brown and Drake’s entourages were involved in a bottle throwing brawl inside a New York nightclub earlier this month. During the chaos, Brown was hit in the head with a bottle and suffered a laceration to his face.
As for the fight, a rep for Brown tells RumorFix that he still has not received an offer from the men, and claims this is nothing more than a publicity stunt on their part. |
