Fast-rising Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has denied reports she is dating co-host of TV show Jara, Uti Nwachukwu.
There had been rumours making rounds that Uti may have found a bride in the Nollywood actress who was reported to be close to the Nwachukwu family, but Naya has expressed her shock on Twitter saying the rumour is untrue and misleading.
“This insinuation is laughable…Pls let’s not start a rumour…My boyfriend wasn’t too happy seeing this,” Naya tweeted.
She maintained that her relationship with the 30-year old 2010 BBA winner is purely professional and without attached strings.
“Uti makes me laugh a lot…it’s always fun and games hanging out with him and nothing more. We are not dating.”
Uti Nwachukwu has not reacted to this, although he wasn’t the one who said they were dating in the first place.
Naya has featured in many Nollywood movies including ‘Weekend Getaway’ where he featured alongside Uti Nwachukwu.
