Cocaine eats millionaire’s nose
By News Express
This is a classical case of what Nigerians call “chop and quench” — or something close to that. A millionaire property developer snorted so much cocaine his nose collapsed, British newspapers reported this morning.
Forty-five years old James Brown (shown in photo), originally from Glasgow, was bored and got hooked on cocaine “after making enough cash to retire to Portugal at the age of 36,” The Sun reported.
In its own report, Daily Mail said that “Brown’s habit was so bad his nose collapsed after nine years of daily cocaine use.”
Brown’s problems became compounded yesterday as he was jailed for five years by a Swansea Crown Court after cops found £9,000 of the drug in his Bentley, plus two guns at a hotel where he was holidaying at Laugharne, west Wales.
John Hipkin, defending Brown, said: “He developed a massive cocaine addiction funded by legitimate means. He has suffered health issues, some cosmetic and some, like his cardiac condition, threatening. He’ll never return to that form of lifestyle again.”
