Several news outlets are reporting now that the hostage situation in Alabama involving Jimmy Lee Dykes and the 5-year-old boy he kidnapped in Alabama is over.
Dykes is dead, and the child is alive.
Dykes has held the child in an underground bunker for seven days after he shot a school bus driver dead and abducted the boy.
