A whole Lt. General Oladipo Diya shed whatever pride he had when he wept and grovelled at General Abacha’s feet begging for forgiveness.
This follows Diya’s involvement in planning a coup against Abacha ,
Despite being a General, Diya’s grovelling was so pathetic, that Abacha disgraced him further by giving him tissue paper to wipe away his tears.
