Jonathan warned that any party or candidate, no matter how popular or highly placed found to have indulged in any form of rigging or electoral manipulation/malpractice would be dealt with accordingly -

President Goodluck Jonathan arrived Onitsha yesterday to add value to the Anambra state governorship campaign of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Comrade Tony Nwoye with one message for the citizens -vote in PDP and return the party to Awka government House. The President who was accompanied by
the Party's National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Turkur and other top officials of the party had at the rally held at the Centenary Field of the Basilica of Most Holy Trinity field Onitsha said that Nwoye has the capacity to take the state to the nexr level.
He restated his commitment towards a free and fair election in the state by ensuring a level playing field for all the political parties, reminding the party's supporters of the need to vote for PDP and Tony Nwoye whom he described as "young and vibrant young man with zeal to serve in order to commemorate the birthday of former President of Nigeria, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe".
Hear him, "This election is special in the sense that it is holding on November 16 when one of the greatest leaders of the country, Azikwe was born, it will be a very good birthday gift for great Zik and will bring Anambra state forward if you vote Comrade Tony Nwoye and PDP.
"Anambra people must work hard to make sure that the next governor of this state is elected on the platform of PDP. Don't be distracted by the rumours that some people are recruiting youths from neigbouring states, we must ensure security during and after the election and ensure one man one vote", President Jonathan noted.
Alhaji Turkur in his own remarks described the flagbearer as a vibrant young man whose zeal to serve his people has no rival and urged the people of the state to vote PDP for uncommon transformation. That would restore the state to the top of the ladder of comity of states, where it ought to be always.
The national chairman challenged the people of the state to vote PDP,saying that the party is in a hurry to take over the state as one of the states being controlled by PDP after November 16, 2013;.
He assured the people of the state of the readiness of the incoming administration on the platform of PDP to dredge the River Niger and make the River Port functional to develop the economic activities in the state.
"Don't continue to remain outside the fold, return back to your main umbrella and get your development, that is why we insisted on free and credible primary election to make sure that whoever emerges will be a man who will be acceptable by all to make sure the internal rancour that had been the bane of PDP in the state is taken care of and we must thank Mr. President for making that possible" Tukur said.
Also, the leader of PDP Governors' Forum and Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Godswill Akpabio said the party has returned to take over Anambra state which he described as a PDP state right from 1999 till date, reiterating the readiness of the party to capture the state on Saturday governorship election.
According to him, "Am here to tell you the goodness that I followed Mr. President to Jerusalem and I bring with me here the blessing from the Holyl and, Anambra, you are very lucky that this is the first political rally Mr. President is attending as a Pilgrim in the whole of Africa" Akpabio said.
He identified the problem of the party in the state as lack of internal democracy which he said caused internal bickering among members of the party and stated that the party is poised to reclaim the state in this election election by voting Comrade Tony Nwoye.
Nwoye promised to revolitionize the state, through security of lives and property, and conduct the local government election in the state within six months if elected and stated that through his Youth Empowerment Scheme (YES), he will tackle youth unemployment with every seriousness and make sure the state is brought t to limelight in the comity of states.
He said "Mr. President, Anambra state is the highest state with no youth empowerment in the entire country and I am promising that if elected, I will tackle youth empowerment and ensure security of lives and revitalize agriculture by building agricultural settlements in all the. Zones and construct Teaching Hospitals in the three zones of the state.

Jonathan is directly talking to NGIGE and OKOROCHA of APC . He does not want them at all in anambra state. Even if ngige wins he will not get it . Is either APGA or pdp . We know he prefers Peter obi's candidate
