Earlier this morning, the president, Muhammad Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, held a closed door meeting with Nigeria’s newly elected governors in order to discuss current issues affecting the country, particularly the weight of financial crunches frustrating different states across the country.
The meeting which was held inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa had in attendance governors of Rivers, Ogun, Imo, Gombe, Benue, Delta, Niger, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Kogi, Borno, Jigawa and others.
