Sadness and regret seem to have replaced joy and contentment hitherto resident in the heart of Maryam Tukur, the daughter of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur who got married to Sheriff Shagaya, the son of Hajia Bola Shagaya in a very elaborate wedding ceremony in Lagos last.

The young lady is now regretting her unwholesome assignations which unfortunately may cost her a marriage she had vowed would stand the test of time.

The gist circulating around is that the marriage is tottering on the brink of collapse and Maryam is planning to pack out of her matrimonial home. According to information divulged by an insider, the marriage started experience some strain few months after the two lovers tied the knot in a society wedding which paraded the best from Nigeria’s socio-economic hub.

Maryham, a silverspoon kid, was reported to have been too haughty to submit herself to matrimonial demands of the union as she was always heard complain of one issue or the other. The matter was worsened by an unconfirmed report that Hajia Bola Shagaya’s influence on her son is unbearable,  a situation which has turned the supposed head of the family to a minion whose words were as effective as a permeable basket which holds no water.
