One thug, Samson Odegbune had taken a samurai sword to school and at the station led the charge after victim 15-year-old Sofyen Belamouadden.

Many of the mob tried to escape on a C10 bus but it was stopped by police. They found a knife in a bag belonging to Christopher Omoregie, now 18, and another wrapped in newspaper bearing the fingerprints of Obi Nwokeh, 19.
Together with Odegbune, 18, they were convicted of murder and ordered to be detained at Her Majesty’s Pleasure, the juvenile equivalent of a life sentence.
Femi Oderinwale, 18, described as “the armourer”, Samuel Roberts, 19,  and Adonis Akra, 19, were all convicted of manslaughter and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and were each sentenced to 12 years detention.
Enoch Amoah, 19, and 17-year-old Tyrone Richards, who was 15 at the time of the murder and who can be named for the first time today,  were found guilty of conspiracy to cause GBH and violent disorder and were sentenced to seven years detention.The only girl charged, Victoria Osoteku, 19, was convicted of manslaughter and will be sentenced next week.
