CBS confirms Condoleezza Rice will endorse tonight at fundraiser in CA
Rice's input follows several other high-profile Romney endorsements, includingformer President George W. Bush and his brother, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. The endorsement is largely ceremonial after Romney surpassed the 1,144 delegates required to clinch the GOP nomination.
Rice has repeatedly said she is not interested in being Romney's VP, noting that she thinks "he'll find a fine vice president."
