Whitney Houston’s Family Denies Feud With Ray J

Whitney Houston’s Family Denies Feud With Ray J

Whitney Houston’s family is denying a report by TMZ that they asked security to forcefully remove Ray J from sitting near Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and other family members at Sunday night’s Billboard Awards. Houston received the Millennium Award at the show, which was accepted by Kristina.
According to TMZ:
Ray J was almost physically removed from the Billboard Music Awards last night after angry members of Whitney Houston’s family ordered their security to get him away from them … TMZ has learned.
Pat Houston’s blood was boiling because she, Bobbi Kristina and other family members were seated next to Ray J, the person Pat believes was a very bad influence on Whitney. Minutes before the tribute to Whitney, Pat asked her security to remove Ray J from his seat, but he refused to budge.
But in an interview to our friends at HipHollywood.com, Pat Houston explained what really happened, saying it was production staff that requested the singer move, not Houston’s family. And when Ray J declined the staff’s request, production called in the Las Vegas Police to help.
Fortunately, it was Houston’s family that told LVPD to “stand down,” and allowed Ray J to use one of their extra tickets to remain in a seat he was not assigned to.
