The truth is bitter but must be spoken. An aspiring president who localizes his political base to a part of the country like Buhari cannot win any credible election in Nigeria. It is possible he wins in Daura, Katsina and a few places but what about the rest of Nigeria-South west, south east and south south? Nigeria does not begin and end in Daura or Katsina or Kano, etc. Nigeria is bigger than any region or section of the country. How many Igbos or Yorubas or Ijaws fought for Buhari after the 2011 elections? It was just a few disgruntled elements from Buhari strongholds who have no facts and were bend on mischief. It is very sad when misinformed people attribute Buhari's loss in the last election to rigging by PDP when CPC massively rigged for Buhari in his strongholds and even killed innocent corpers who refused to compromise. There is no magic way of winning elections for a man who concentrated his campaign in a section of the country and is popular in a small section but expects the whole of Nigeria to vote for him! How?? In a dream?? I think those who love Buhari should advise him to hands off any presidential ambition in Nigeria forever. The devastating coup of Buhari that ushered in IBB, Abacha and co and brought in the present mess we are in today as a nation is a history we cannot easily forget. God bless Nigeria.
