Euro 2012 soccer driving UK women to male escorts
Via Speleb:
Sex-starved British women are reportedly turning to male escorts because their husbands or boyfriends are preoccupied with watching the Euro 2012 soccer matches on TV.
The Sun reports that demand for gigolos in England has increased 26 percent since the soccer tournament kicked off and the number of men signing up to be male escorts has risen by 11 percent.
“Football tournaments are to male escorts like Christmas is to supermarkets — the business keeps us going for the rest of the year,” said 26-year-old male escort Martin Preston.
He hopes England goes all the way so he can remain booked up. Right now, however, he’s struggling to keep up with the demand for his sexual services.
“I’ve shot up from three to eight clients a week — it’s absolute mayhem. I charge between £120 ($150) and £800 ($1,006), depending on how long I spend with them and what we do, so my bank balance is benefiting beyond belief.”
Preston has heard plenty of complaints from his clients about their partner’s obsession with soccer.
“I entertained a client this week who was furious at her husband for paying more attention to the European Championships than her,” said Preston. “Two weeks ago, (a client’s) husband banned her from watching anything she wanted while Euro 2012 was on. He also insisted that she make his dinner between games because he didn’t want to eat during a match. It was her birthday midway through the tournament too — and he’d even forgotten that.”
Preston said many of the women who hire him talk about how their partners lost interest in sex during soccer tournaments.
“At least half a dozen of them have told me their men go off physical contact when these big competitions are on,” he said. “They drink a lot more and stay up later so they’re often tired.
“If England has bad game or lose they’re in such a terrible mood that the last thing on their mind is being affectionate to their partners. That’s why I don’t feel guilty about fulfilling a need. I’m almost like the missing link in their lives during the busy football tournaments.”
And we all thought American men were obsessed with college and NFL football.
