Gunmen Kill Cleric In Gombe
Gombe State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdu, said unknown gunmen had killed a cleric, Mallam Sani Dabanfulani at Barunde quarters,Gombe.
Abdu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Thursday that Malam Dabanfulani was shot by the hoodlums on Wednesday at about 8.30 p.m.
He said the gunmen entered the victim's compound while he was dining with others, singled him out and shot him dead.
Abdu said police had commenced investigations into the matter and that no arrest had been made. (NAN)
