KOSY AKILO, 6 YEAR OLD KIDNAPPED NIGERIAN GIRL RESCUED USING TRACKING DEVICE

Nigeria and Africa cannot be called the dark continent any longer. Kosy Akilo, the kidnapped 6 year old girl who has been in hearts and minds of many Nigerians has been found. The rescue of six years kidnapped Kosy Akilo was made possible by a new kidnapping tracking device which is currently being tested by the Nigerian police. The success of this new tracking device/software may mark the end of kidnapping in Nigeria.
Kosy Akilo was kidnapped in her parent’s house on May 5th, 2012, following an armed robbery. A story was reported on how this new device, which was developed by a Nigerian company was used to track down about 15 kidnapped people in Imo State. An investigation shows that Kosy’s kidnappers were tracked down using the IMEI 352481047864232 of the young girl’s mother’s phone.
She was rescued at Onwan, Warri Delta State, with the tracking device which led the police to the kidnappers using the latitude and longitude co-ordinates.The police were directed to the first location which led to the arrest of the first kidnapper in the case, on May 5th, 2012. Yesterday, he led police to the house of the king-pin of the kidnapping gang’s girlfriend.
At 1.20 am this morning, the police and the Delta state Anti-kidnap team stormed the three story building where Kosy was kept. Currently, this king-pin is aiding the investigation by taking the police team to the house of the true leader of the gang, he has opened up that they have several guns and in his house was found several black magic items and plastic guns…no ransom was paid before she was rescued.
