My Colleagues messed me up - Honourable Lawn Farouk.
Hon Farouk Lawan who was at the Force headquarters, yesterday, in relation to $620,000 bribe he received from Oil magnet and Zenon Oil Chairman, Mr Femi Otedola.
Hon Farouk who apparently lost some weight, moaned that he is disappointed and wondered how his colleagues are abandoning him at this time.
He told the police last week that he handed over the bribe money to Hon. Adams Jagaba, the House Committee Chairman on Narcotics and Financial Crimes.
This claim was flatly denied by Hon Adams Jagaba.
Hope For Nigeria was informed by Force Head Quarters source, that Hon Lawan also hit another rock, in his other submission to the police about the $120,000 collected from Otedola by the secretary of the committee, Boniface Emenalo.
Hope For Nigeria was informed that Farouk was almost in shock when he was told that Boniface Emenalo on intorragation told the Police that he handed the $120,000 to Hon Farouk immediately he collected it from Mr Otedola.
The embattled Hon Lawan promised the Investigators to give him more time to 'retrieve' the bribe money and bring it back to them.
Report any suspicious persons and object to the law enforcement agencies, as that will save lives.
