One person has been reported killed when a 40-feet container placed on a trailer fell off.
The container was said to have fallen on the woman.
The identity of the woman could not be established as at press time.
The accident occurred at Kara, close to Berger Bus Stop on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as the trailer was making its way out of Lagos. It involved three vehicles - a white Mazda bus and two Mack trucks.
This led to a gridlock that stretched as far as the old Toll Gate at 7-Up area of Lagos State.
Though the container and the trailer had been moved to the side of the road, the traffic situation was yet to get better as at 1pm.
The accident, according to sources, occurred at about 8am.
