NEWS FLASH: 1ST MEDAL FOR NIGERIA : Maryam Usman wins bronze medal for Nigeria

AFTER SEVERAL FAILED ATTEMPTS TO LIFT THAT 75KG, MARYAM USMAN FINALLY LIFTS THAT 75KG Finally someone has opened the closed door for Nigerians in the olympic games. The Nigerian representative for the weightlifting (75kg category) has gotten a bronze medal for the country in the on going Olympic 2012 competition in London. we have not gotten any medal through out the competition even as blessing whom we all had high hopes on failed us. Though there is a bright star shinning as Muizat Ajoke Odumosu - 400m Hurdles Heat has qualified for the finals.we hope she makes us proud. In the mean time, Nigerians are proud of you Maryam
