Bauchi state Gov arresting his people for Facebook comments

Bauchi state Gov jailing people for Facebook comments
Dear People of Bauchi State
Our Governor Malam Dr. Isa Yuguda has ordered for the arrest of one of his subject with the name Abbas Ahmed, this act is condemnable, heartless, undemocratic and above all UN-YUGUDA. THIS story is perplexing and disheartening:Yuguda Arrest a civil servant for FACEBOOK comment. I haven’t seen or read the comment made by Abbas Ahmed but Governor Yuguda should understand that freedom of expression is the only thing some of us the youth in Bauchi state are enjoying. People of Bauchi State are in dire state of poverty; historical in magnitude because we have never seen such state of LACK and destitution as we are witnessing now. Yuguda must be nursing for a higher office, his move to gag the freedom of Abbas Ahmed will work against him. Nigerians are not ready for a tyrant.

Malam Isa Yuguda
Nasir Elrufai, wrote things worse than ABBAS AHMED YET he is free. Is it only the weak you PUNISH? Many Islamic Scholars have said worse about your government but only ABBAS AHMED is paying for all of these. You don’t have to show your strength on a 30-year old, realease Abba Ahmed now. Wallahi those telling you that you are doing a good job as a governor are the greatest and latent enemies you have. Your subjects are hastily going down the drain of penury & indigence. While I’ll advise the Youths to only report what they have facts; I can also advice you not join issues with your subjects. All poor men are now very angry with your government. Any undoing is usually greeted with thanks to the almighty.

This move is destructive and heartless. I am not denying that there are some really destructive young people – as there are adults. They are mostly those who exist in deprivation(whether of honesty or conscience) and are anxious and aggressive. They are made to feel worthless and so they become destructive. They are incredibly vulnerable.

Yuguda arrest civil servant
Your Perception on us
Leaders distorted perception of young people creates a self-fulfilling prophecy: why bother to try when you are told that they are a failure? Why bother to strive when their existence is seen as a nuisance? We are the future and arrest will not deter us. Facebook has brought down leaders that have the heart to even kill; while you can only arrest. RELEASE ABBAS AHMED. Gaddafi is dead because of Facebook, Mubarak is in jail because of Facebok and you can guess the end of those trying to gag free expression. Yuguda’s Waterloo

OUR PRAYERS

This picture is working against you. What will it benefit you to incarcerate a poor soul like ABBAS?
RELEASE ABBAS AHMED as we have today pray for such. It will not be in your best interest to muddle the marriage of your son with the freedom of ABBAS AHMED. Many in Bauchi state had witness the marriage in grief, knowing how poor they are while the Ceremony is lavishly done. It will not be in your best interest to remind the people of Bauchi state how much you can expend for you son’s wedding while they go for days without potable water. The source of the fund may not matter to us; because as governor we deserve ZAKKAT from your personal wealth and we deserve better governance.

While I call upon the youths to avoid slanderous accusation or accusation without proof I call upon BASG to release ABBAS AHMED IMMEDIATELY. We’ll not be happy if ABBAS AHMED spend SALLAH behind bars. I lastly call upon all the legal luminaries on Facebook to rise to his defense and help get ABBAS AHMED release. On the NIGHT OF ARAFAT, we must not forget to pray for ABBAS AHMED & Governor Isa Yuguda(considering the situation of both). The NLC should come to his aid. We call upon IDRIS YUGUDA to reign on his father to release ABBAS AHMED; as we go on massive SOCIAL MEDIA BATTLE TO Regain his freedom. RELEASE ABBAS AHMED NOW
