ARMED with axes and bats, six men raced through a London shopping mall on motorbikes in a daring jewellery heist.
Police are looking for the men - dressed in black motorcycle gear and wearing full-face helmets - after they raided the Brent Cross shopping centre shortly after opening time on Tuesday.
As startled shoppers looked on, three motorbikes, each with two riders, drove through the slate-floored mall and parked in front of a Fraser Hart jewellery outlet.
One man jumped off each bike, leaving the riders to position and guard their machines for a fast getaway.
The whole incident, which lasted less than two minutes, was caught by surveillance cameras.
Nobody was hurt in the raid, but one elderly man was treated for shock.
The Daily Mail reports the abandoned motorbikes were found at a nearby golf course an hour later.
