I just got the sad news this morning that Alida Obinyan, the pretty lady we were campaigning for to help raise money for her treatment in India has died. Incase you missed that story, catch up by clicking HERE.
Alida was suffering from a disease called MRSA – one of the deadliest bacteria’s in world. MRSA destroys the entire immune system, then starts to eat the flesh from the inside out. It is resistant to 80% of ALL known antibiotics. It was eating up her hands and she needed £25,000 (about N 6,250,000) to cover the expenses of her treatment in India.
Alida Obinyan was born on July 30, 1973. She attended Federal Government Girls College, Benin City (Class of 1990). She studied Botany at the University of Jos (Class of 1997). She later acquired extra degrees in Business Management (2005) and Clinical Psychology (2009). She was the Executive Director NCDF Investment and Asset Management, Abuja-Nigeria, until her death.
