Damilola Taylor's Killer Ricky Preddie Pictured With 'Taunting' Note at Court

WHY?: Ricky Preddie
ONE OF schoolboy Damilola Taylor’s killers was pictured mocking the 10-year-old victim as he left court today.
Ricky Preddie, 26, from Sydenham, southeast London, walked around with a note that read 'Real Justice For Damiola Taylor' – the incorrect spelling of his victim, Damilola's name.

He appeared before Hammersmith Magistrates to deny a string of nine offences including driving without a licence and a separate offence for trespassing on railway property.
The young offender was granted unconditional bail to return for a one-day trial at Westminster Magistrates Court in December.
In 2006, Preddie and his brother Danny were sentenced to eight years for manslaughter after stabbing 10-year-old Damilola in the leg with a broken bottle.
Damilola's family had moved from Nigeria to London that summer in search of a better life before the fatal attack in 2000.
