A 45-year-old man who susta


The victim  sustained serious head injuries in an assault in Swords in Dublin yesterday and remains on a life support machine in Beaumont Hospital.

A 37-year-old man arrested at the scene is due in court tomorrow charged in connection with the assault.

Officers have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the incident on Swords Main Street at around 12.50pm or have video footage of it to contact them.Two baseball bats were recovered from the scene.
