Abia State Gov. Theodore Orji's son allegedly orders Police to shoot his aide in cold blood!..

I was in a conversation with a friend of mine few hours ago who shared this with me as he happens to be a friend of the deceased. John Ndubuka was until yesterday, the PA to the son of the Governor of Abia State, Chinedu Orji. There's been confusion in Abia State ever since last night when news that John was shot dead in cold blood by a Police Officer at the Okpara square, Umauhia, where the official declaration of Governor Orji Uzor Kalu's Senatorial ambition for the coming election in 2015 was being held. The initial report has been that John was shot by a stray bullet from the police with so many questions arising that why should the Police shoot guns at an event where people were attending. However, there's been some strange developments by eye witnesses who claim the Chinedu ordered the Police officer to shoot his PA who confronted him over a minor issue. We took time to dig further and investigated and here's press release by John's peer's.. -

PANDEMONIUM IN UMUAHIA AS GOV. T. ORJI's SON SHOOTS AIDE

Son to Governor T.A Orji of Abia State, Chinedu Orji aka “IKUKU” yesterday displayed another level of his usual unruly and criminal behavior at the Okpara square, Umauhia, venue of the official declaration of his father’s senatorial ambition ahead of the 2015 general elections.

“IKUKU”, the self acclaimed Governor of the state, who was angered by the utterance of his late PA over a minor issue, directed his police orderly to shoot the late aide. All efforts to save the victim did not yield any result as he lost blood profusely. The ugly development did not allow the event hold as planned as people took to their heels leaving the place deserted.

An eye witness at the venue who spoke under anonymity stated that he was shocked when the Governor’s son, Chinedu directed his orderly to shoot the late aide over a minor misunderstanding. He decried the humiliation Abians have been subjected to, by the actions of the Governor’s son, since his father took over the mantle of leadership. He called on the Inspector General of Police to investigate the unlawful and unprofessional behaviour of the Governor’s son and his orderly respectively.

TRIBUTES****

GONE TOO SOON - 1978 to 2014

My only brother, John Ndubuka died yesterday 2/15/14.
He died of an accidental discharge by a police security personnel while they were exiting an official government function in Umuahia, Nigeria.
He was a true Son to me and I pray that his wife, my mother, my sisters, his friends, co-workers at the Government house Umuahia, and associates will have the courage to bear his death.
Johnny, I will always love you and will rather give up my life so you can live.
You will forever remain vividly in my mind.
Henry Ndubuka

One of John's friends Onuoha Franklyn took to facebook to write:
I am not certain how John Ndubuka died. Stories are emerging that he was shot based on the orders of Governor's son, Chinedu. I do not want to believe that, and I don't want anybody to believe it. However, what I want every one to believe is that this should a turning point in our quest for a change in Abia State. Every young man who is aggrieved at the death of this young man should have a rethink. Life is transient and ephemeral. John is gone. If his death is the ultimate sacrifice for the liberation of Abia, so it shall be. I must state, at the risk of sounding immodest, that John may not have been following the Governor's son if the environment is made clement enough for young promising men like him to either get a good job else where or set up his own business and watch it grow over time. Most young people I know and talk to in Abia are political sycophants and praise singers. Some of them have succeeded in getting contracts and appointments, while many are living from the crumbs that fall the table of their traducers. I will personally raise the issue about John's death at Government College Umuahia Old Boys' meeting today. I will try to stir up their spirit so his death will not be swept under the carpet like others. i urge all umuahians in Aba and Umuahia, and infact everywhere, to go on rampage to the government house. An injury to one is injury to all. Our motto is "may we shine as one". This is the time to show that motto is not for formality.Every umuahian in Lagos should converge at Havana Hospital and let us talk about it. I am leaving my house now. Join us there, please

Another friend named Ikechi Bright also wrote:
What exactly transpired in the tragic loss of John Ndubuka? Who gave the order to shoot? Could it be true that the MOPOL guy was pushed down and he then fired with the nozzle directed to john's chest? What exactly was the event they attended for? Who authorized the deployment of the MOPOL to the event? In what capacity was the said governor's son acting? Answers to this question must be provided by the characters behind this ugly and despicable incident.

John is somebody's son, husband, father, bread winner and friend. His death should be a turning point in the way we perceive things and go about political issues. I have heard different versions of the story. Which one is the correct account? Let the truth come out and let justice be done. Now that their grandstanding has caused the death of John, can they now tuck their little tail in-between their legs and bury their face in shame?
I have been struggling, without success, since yesterday to convince a colleague that a police orderly attached to the son of my governor in Nigeria shot a young man to death.

He has asked me several questions of which I did not provide him with any reasonable or logical answers. He asked me questions like: did you mean to say the governor's orderly? Was the governor's convoy or team under gun attack? Is there a war in your state? I guess the culprits are in police net now?

All I did was to blab and blab trying to churn out all kinds of answers. The look on my colleague's face as I struggled to explain said it all: are these folks stupid or what? Finally, I told him that I will make more enquiry and get back to him. Please guys, do you have answers to these questions?

The first son of Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State, Chinedum, on Saturday escaped assassination when an unknown gunman shot at his car, as he was about to be conveyed out of the venue of a reception organised by Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in honour of his father in Umuahia. But his Personal Assistant, Mr John Ndubuka, was not so lucky, as the bullet aimed at Chinedum hit Ndubula below the neck. He was pronounced dead by doctors at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), where he was rushed to after the shooting.
