P-Square's Paul Okoye to marry heartthrob Anita Isama in Port Harcourt on March 22

Made up of identical twins Peter and Paul Okoye, P-Square has established itself as the yardstick for modern day Nigerian pop musicians and in April 2010 was named the Artist of the Year at the Kora All Africa Music Awards. Peter Okoye got engaged to his long time girlfriend, Lola Omotayo on November 17 last year in Lagos and brother Paul has now decided to follow suit.   Paul has decided to hold a traditional wedding ceremony at the Aztech Arcum Events Centre in Port Harcourt, with Anita, who he already has a son called Andre with. Following the traditional wedding, the two brothers will then hold a white wedding ceremony together on the same day in Dubai.   Bayo Adetutu, P-Square’s publicist, said: “The plan for this traditional marriage has been going on for a while. However, Paul and Anita needed to fix a perfect date, now we have it.”   When Peter got married last year, his event was attended by numerous music celebrities, with some of them mounting the stage to serenade the couple. Among those who sang at the event were Flavour, KCEE, Iyanya, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, J Martins, Phyno, M.I, Lynxxx, Ice Prince and Naeto C.   One of Africa's most successful bands ever, P-Square make about $150,000 per show and their permanent Nigerian home known as Squareville in Lagos is worth an estimated $3m. Estimated by some as Africa's richest band, P-Square's most successful album, Game Over, which was released in 2007, has sold 8m copies worldwide.   In March last year, fellow musician Twoface Idiba celebrated his wedding to heartthrob Annie Macauley in similar style with a traditional wedding in Eket in Akwa Ibom State, followed by a white wedding in Dubai. To celebrate the lavish multi-million dollar party at the five-star Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, about 250 selected guests made up of family, friends and business associates were flown from Nigeria. -
