Epitome of Humility, Mr President visits the Late President Umaru musa Yar, Adua,s mother on his two days working visit to kastina.

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday paid homage to the Yar’Adua family in Katsina where he knelt down before the mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, Hajiya Aya Dada, to receive motherly blessings.
The president who ended his two-day visit to the state arrived at the compound of the Yar’Aduas about 9:20am in the company of the state governor, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, and other prominent persons of the state, including his aides.
They were received by the younger brother of the late president, Alhaji Mustapha Yar’Adua, who led them to their matriarch.
As soon as he was introduced to his late boss’ mother by Shema, President Jonathan knelt down before her to receive motherly blessings before proceeding to pay homage to the late Yar’Adua’s elder brother, Alhaji Yusuf Musa Yar’Adua.
Inspecting the complex shortly after he left  the Yar’Aduas’ compound, Jonathan implored party executives in other states to emulate Katsina State by building a permanent party secretariat, even as he observed that Katsina is one of the few states that had built a befitting permanent party secretariat.
On his part, Governor Shema  said the PDP in the state was united enough to continue to support the Jonathan administration.

The  president also inspected a 250-bed orthopaedic hospital along Dutsin-Ma Road built by the state government, as well as the facilities at the Federal  University, Dutsin-Ma, and the Katsina Songhai project/Zobe Dam before departing Katsina for Abuja yesterday afternoon.
