Boko Haram On The Run , Divides Abducted Chibok Girls Into Four Groups, Moved to Ashaka Forest

The kidnapped Chibok girls have been moved from the Sambisa forest towards the forest around Ashaka in Gombe State, a top security official has disclosed

Insiders within the Nigerian security circles say they know where some of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria are.

Sky News was informed that the kidnapped girls of Government Secondary Schools in Chibok have been split into at least four different groups, complicating the search to find the girls almost four weeks after they were taken by militants from Boko Haram.

The agency reports that British and American officials are using advanced eavesdropping equipment to scan the Sambisa forest where the schoolgirls are kept.

Boko Haram forcefully seized the girls on April 14, 2014, and has held on to them with no official request for ransom yet.

News of the girls’ split comes as Amnesty International alleged that the military was aware of the impending attack close to four hours before it took place.

The military has however strongly rejected the claim, saying its officers could not have backed out if they were informed of the attack.

Defence Headquarters in its reaction to the claim by the rights group, said “these spurious allegations are obviously a continuation of the campaign intended to cause disaffection, portray the military in bad light and undermine the counter-terrorism efforts.”

“Although, the Chibok incident is still subject to more investigation, the Defence Headquarters appeals to individuals and organisations to refrain from circulating spurious allegations that could undermine both the operation and investigation of the mission generally,”

U.S. Senator John McCain insults Nigeria and its sovereignty

"We should have utilized every asset that we have, satellite, drones, any capabilities that we had to go after them

We didn't have to wait until a practically non-existent government of Nigeria gave us the go-ahead before mounting a humanitarian effort to rescue those 276 Abducted girls"
