Two security sources disclosed that the explosion was apparently carried out by a female suicide bomber and was aimed at igniting several gasoline depots in the area.
Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos was thrown into pandemoniun, Wednesday night, when
an explosives-laden car went off at Folawiyo Fuel Depot.
The explosion occurred at about 8:30pm; affecting four buildings, including two banks.
At press time, it was gathered that no fewer than four people were feared killed in the blast.
