Nobody Is Allowed to Talk About her

Notoriously private when it comes to all things related to her personal life, Kerry Washington has never directly acknowledged giving birth to her daughter Isabelle back in April — the closest she's come to the subject is a semi-veiled statement tweeted on Mother's Day. And the secrecy surrounding her family (Washington has never mentionedher husband, NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha, either) extends to her coworkers — assuming Kerry even shares stories with them, they have to keep quiet too. Us Weekly tried to talk to Scandal's Mellie, Bellamy Young, at a recent event, but Young explained she "can't talk about Kerry on the carpet." She couldn't even say if she's happy for Kerry (or not), instead describing herself as "Switzerland."

Young didn't clarify whether she'd be able to whisper any gossip in a bathroom stall later, after the red carpet and maybe a glass of white wine, but it wouldn't matter much because that'd be off the record.
