R-E-V-E-A-L-E-D: Why Big Boss Stephen Keshi Benched Victor Moses


    -Victor Moses was sensationally left off the Super Eagles last two games at the ongoing World Cup in Brazil in a dramatic, sudden and unexpected move from head coach Stephen Keshi. Per Second News exclusively gathered that the Chelsea player but on Loan Liverpool player who warmed the bench all through the season and was dropped for not playing according to script by Keshi. 

    A source in the Hotel Victoria base of the Super Eagles disclosed that the coach in the past has held several 1:1 meetings with Moses in regards to his playing style, described by the coach as 'schoolboy football'.  Per Second News gathered that the coach was livid in the first game against Iran, accusing Moses of causing the Eagles setback.
    A close associate of the coach said the dropping of the player is to serve as a punishment for not playing to instructions.
    Contrary to report that he was absent in the game against Argentina, Per Second News reliably learnt that he travelled with the team, and was in the sidelines with other players, after assuring the coach of his commitment to play according to plan. Moses, whose fame and popularity are undeniable will be back in the round of 16 and will play some part in the game against France, according to a member of the coaching crew.
     The cutting of Moses, one of the Nigeria's best players, drew attention worldwide. Not surprisingly, his exclusion set off debate, criticism and hand-wringing from fans of all persuasions.
