The Admiral without Admirers.
In the contentious,2010 PDP primaries,Abubakar Atiku needed the home support of the delegates from Adamawa his home state,like no other in his polilical life.
But Murtala Hamman-Yero Nyako,then the Governor betrayed Atiku for Pres.Jonathan,by asking all the delegates from his state to vote for the latter.
History could sometimes be very cruel..today,the same Pres.Jonathan got him out of the same exaulted position he used for him and against Atiku.
Today, suddenly,the Adamawa State House of Assembly who recently,passed a vote of confidence in Governor Nyako describing him as the "messiah" to the people ,voted 18/6 to have him crucified.
While,Atiku had no other choice,but just to looked on,afterall politics is alwaýs dog eats dog.But his daughter was about town saying -'good riddance to bad rubbish'.
In all,itis now true that years always reveal the inner mind of men,no matter how long.
However,itis quite dumbfounding that an Admiral who was taught on how to command the loyalty of his men could fell so so cheap to the antics of mere 'bloody civilians',because he couldnot get beyond 6 loyal men out of the 24 men.
In all ,the world can only say to Baba Mai Mangoro -'Adieu the Admiral without admirers'.
