In Yobe State, suspected militants have bombed a local mosque close to the palace of the Emir of Potiskum, killing four persons.
The tragic incident took place during the evening prayers, and eyewitnesses said the entire mosque collapsed in response to the blast.
Casualty figures are expected to rise.
