We Did Not Collect A Kobo To Impeach Nyako, Says Adamawa Ag. Governor

Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintri Monday said members  of the State House of Assembly did not collect a dime from anybody to remove the former governor, Murtala Nyako as being insinuated in some quarters.

The acting governor spoke while fielding questions from State House correspondents, after he visited President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa.

He said the state remain calm, as the new government had been into confidence building, "having removed Nyako and the destruction of infrastructure and moral of our people."

Fintiri added that "we have gone into building of confidence. We are trying to pay our salaries. Salaries of workers because for months, he has not paid their salaries. That is what we are doing now."

On his Purpose for visiting the President, he said he came to see Jonathant as the leader of this country and to give him the details of situation in Adamawa as the acting governor.
