Shamed by Adultery allegations and Divorce as well as financial 
mis management of church funds
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome currently going through a very public and murky divorce seems to be very disturbed by events unfolding all around him.
Still reeling from divorce papers slammed in his face by an obviously disenchanted wife, Pastor Anita, Chris’ first move was to protect his church and business empire by proclaiming that Anita was not there when he started the church. As Anita’s threat of divorce came through Chris quickly pulled down the name of his estranged wife from the church website indicating that the marriage had no hope of restoration and the business partnership had of course also gone sour.
Those in the know tell Busstop News that until now, both husband and wife were co-signatories of all accounts, an issue which they predict will lead to a long and messy divorce especially with Anita’s family determined to stand by her as everybody goes in for the spoil.
Making the rounds early week is a video of Pastor Chris preaching that women are a mere appendage of men and an afterthought of God. While statements such as this have drawn the ire of women all over the nation, the flamboyant Pastor Chris has taken on the Nigerian press threatening to sue any publication that publishes anything about his person, the Church and a matrimonial cause between him and his wife.
Writing through his lawyers, Chris say: “Our client is seriously concerned that under the guise of reporting a divorce proceeding involving him, publishers resorted into an unjustified and malicious attack on his reputation for reasons not unconnected with the respective publishers’ selfish motives of prospect of material and financial advantage attendant to the wide circulation their distorted and fabricated stories would enjoy.
“The publishers decided to fabricate facts including (but not limited to) allegation of ADULTERY against our client, with the wicked and malicious intention of bringing his person and the Church to public opprobrium and ridicule;
It is our client’s instructions to inform the members of the public and particularly warn the concerned media houses that the news or story presently circulating in the media is nothing but a complete distortion of the facts in the pending proceedings in the United Kingdom, to the knowledge of the publishers”.
Pastor Oyakhilome, said he however recognized individual’s right to freedom of expression but cautioned that such must be exercised within the applicable Code of Ethics.

A lot of stories have been flying around since Pastor Chris Oyakilhome's wife, Anita, took their divorce saga to the public domain. Sources say pastor Chris has now removed his wife profile from his personal website and what people now see there is the picture of this beautiful lady on the left.
