No where To Hide as Runaway London killer nabbed in Nigeria

A man wanted in connection with the murder of a promising young rapper who was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in south London has been arrested in Nigeria.
Jeffrey Okafor was held by officials on Tuesday over the fatal stabbing of Carl Beatson Asiedu, who performed under the name DJ Charmz.
Mr Asiedu, a former student at Selhurst High School for Boys and St Francis Xavier College in Clapham, died in the street after performing a set at Club Life in Vauxhall in August 2009.
Police in London are now hoping to extradite Okafor to the UK so he can face charges for the killing.
Both Asiedu and Okafor are Nigerians, as are most of those implicated in the murder case.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “[Okafor] was arrested by the Nigerian authorities and proceedings are now underway for his return to the UK.”
The arrest comes one month after detectives investigating the case launched a high-profile Facebook appeal to trace Okafor, who they suspected had fled to Nigeria.
Scotland Yard said he was last seen on CCTV boarding a flight at Heathrow Airport using his brother’s passport about two weeks after the murder.
Mr Asiedu’s father John spoke of his grief as the police appeal was launched, saying: “Part of me died with [Carl] and I have to carry on living with what is left of me.”
Junior Ademujimi-Falade, of Camberwell, has already been jailed for eight years in connection with the case after being convicted of manslaughter in 2011.
Bolaji Kako-Are and Abu Mansaray were also convicted of violent disorder and jailed for three years each.
