2015: Buhari Does Not Want to submit academic qualifications to INEC, See Copy of Affidavit
ABUJA — Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, did not present his academic qualifications to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, even as he prepares for the 2015 presidential contest.
Unlike his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, counterpart, President Goodluck Jonathan, whose academic certificates were conspicously displayed by the commission upon presentation, At INEC headquarters at Area 10, Abuja, Buhari’s academic qualifications were not on display as required, unlike those of other Presidential candidates, including President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The former Head of State, explained in an affidavit he deposed, which he submitted to the commission that all his academic credentials were with the Secretary, Military Board.
The affidavit deposed at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, Abuja and dated November 24,2014, was stamped and received at INEC headquarters on December 18, 2014.
In the affidavit, Buhari said: “All my academic qualifications (documents) as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary Military Boards as at the time of this affidavit.”
He added: “The affidavit is made in good faith and for record purpose.”

Nigeria will not stop to amaze me. General Muhammed Buhari contested presidential election in Nigeria three times already and failed.
Those three times, Nigeria Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) cleared him.
On his fourth running as presidential candidate, that's when we found out that he couldn't provide his academic credentials.
What happened to previous ones that he provided?

• No Higher School Certificate.
• No OND.
• No HND.
• No First Degree.
• No Masters Degree.
• No Doctorate Degree.
• No PSC, MNI or FSS (all these are military certificates: He Attended several military courses, and failed all of them).

2015: No Basis For Objection Over Buhari’s Credentials- INEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said there was no basis for objection to the affidavit presented by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen Muhammadu Buhari, over the circumstances surrounding his certificates.
It also said that it does not have the mandate to screen or reject candidates and stressed that its role was simply to display the nominees of parties for claims and objections, noting that only when there are objections will they revert to the parties to do the needful.
The APC presidential candidate, Buhari, did not submit his certificates and other credentials to INEC, saying that the documents are with the military.
He however explained the development in an affidavit dated November 24, 2014 which he deposed to before an Abuja High Court.
But the chief press secretary to the INEC chairman, Kayode Idow,u who insisted that he would not comment on individual candidates said: “When parties file the nominees, the law requires that INEC should display those nominees for claims and objections. If objections are made to those claims, the commission reverts to the parties because the statutory mandate is on the parties to nominate their candidates, not for INEC to choose their candidates for them.

My friends who are calling Gen. Buhari a coup plotter are also the ones who are saying that he was "not really in charge," and that Brigadier Tunde Idiagbon was in charge. And as if these were not enough, they are now calling him a "moron" who never had a School Cert., university degree or any other higher education even as he rose to become a Major General.
Ok, guys, let's see if there is a difference between a man labelled a moron and his labellers:
- he WAS NOT the real coup leader, but he came from behind and manoeuvred his way to occupy the top spot- is Gen. Buhari still a moron?
- he was a "Coupist" and also a moron, ok! Can a moron successfully plan a strategic change of government without being caught in this country? We know about so many highly decorated officers of the Nigerian army who planned military overthrow of government but were discovered, arrested and executed? As smart as they were they failed- is Gen. Buhari still a moron?
- oh I forgot, the coup succeeded because that "True Patriot" and smart soldier Ibrahim Babangida was part of the coup. So Gen. Buhari used the great IBB to become head of state? is Gen. Buhari still a moron?
- he played INEC in 2003, 2007, 2011 and about to play them again in 2015. If this is true, then everyone at INEC should resign and the commission should be shut down for employing idiots.
- we have had fake or quack doctors or lawyers who were caught and prosecuted before they became chief medical directors at government hospitals. And the infamous "charge and bail fake lawyers' are usually discovered long before they dream of becoming a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. If indeed a a fake or quack and unqualified Nigerian Army General managed to rise to the position of Head of State and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, then everything about Nigeria, including our universities and those people labelling him as such, must be made in China for the Nigerian market- FAKE!
He must be something folks. It's either that he was a 'Coupist' or he was not. If he was a 'Coupist', he must be very smart to have succeeded. Otherwise, we have to free him from the coup. And if despite his "lack of education" he still ruled this country for 20 months, then he can lead for even another 20 years and perhaps, all the fake people and institutions in this country will not notice.

''NO EMPLOYER on earth keeps anybody's original Certificates since they are not Examination bodies like WAEC or Tertiary Institutions. What happened was simple. The NASS re-tweaked the existing electoral laws to include presentation of credentials by ANY contestant to ANY POSITION to first, the party primaries verification team, and secondly INEC.
Now if APC waivered Buhari on the credential thing, then it means the APC did not follow due process in propping Buhari up as presidential flagbearer. Moreover, For Buhari to swear an affidavit saying his certificates are with the Secretary of the Military Board (whether it exists or not), means he erred according to law. HE LIED. No employer keeps ORIGINALS of certificates. Even if he wanted photocopies, he could have applied since that is his primary constituency and they'd have gladly obliged him with copies which can then later be verified by any electoral panel to that effect. Trying to rationalize failure just because Buhari is your preferred candidate is tantamount to a wild goose chase.

5) Does Buhari have a photocopy of ONLY the constitutionally-required WASCE result or not?
