Funsho Williams’ Murder: Bola Tinubu in Fresh Trouble. Court Orders Substituted Service On Defendants

==========================================================
A Federal High Court in Lagos yesterday directed that processes in a suit seeking to re-open investigations into the murder of a former governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Engineer Funsho Williams be served through substituted means on some of the defendants in the case.
A former political associate of former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Bashir Junaid has filed the suit seeking an order of mandamus compelling the Inspector-General of Police to re-open investigations into how the late PDP stalwart was murdered in cold blood.
Junaid, a former secretary of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Mushin local government area of the state, specifically in the application for a Mandamus order, accused members of “Team Lagos killer squad” as the perpetrators of the crime.
Williams was killed on July 27, 2006 at his Dolphine Estate residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Junaid, who claimed that he was detained for about a year over the killing, listed the Inspector-General of Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Sunday Ehindero (former IGP and IPO in Funsho Williams’ murder case), Attorney-General of the Federation, Mrs Modupe Shasore; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Sernator Bola Tinubu; Dr Muiz Banire; Mr Babatunde Edu; Mr Dele Alake and Oladele Ajomale.
When the matter came up on Thursday before Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, lawyer to the plaintiff, Tunji Adesheye, moved an ex-parte application for substituted service and service of the writ of summons on some of the defendants outside jurisdiction.
