An Australian man on holiday in South Africa posted Facebook pictures of his wounds, after a lion reportedly jumped through a car window and mauled his leg. Brendan Smith landed in hospital after the Johannesburg incident and wrote on Facebook: “Pretty full-on but am alive, with insurance coming to the party and an influx of curious Africans wanting to see “the lion man”.
The tourist had plans to go shark diving in Cape Town, but due to the hospital situation, Mr. Smith remains unsure about it.
