Nigeria 2015 : Obama Skeptical , sends delegate to monitor polls


ObamaThe United States president, Barrack Obama, has sent a strong delegate to Nigeria to monitor the Saturday’s presidential election.
The US number one citizen has directed the Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield to join those monitoring activities of tomorrow’s elections.
According to a media note made available to Journalists by the Office of the Spokesperson of the United States Department on Friday, Ms Thomas- Greenfield, Obama is worried over the likely outcome of the Saturday’s elections.
Thomas- Greenfield, according to the note is expected to arrive Nigeria on Saturday, and will be leading the US official diplomatic observation mission for the elections.
Thomas-Greenfield will also hold high-level bilateral meetings with Nigerian officials while in Abuja, the media note had confirmed.
