The finger pointing of who issued an order barring AIT from covering Buhari's activities was brought to rest yesterday when the President-elect personally signed a statement, aligning himself with the All Progressives Congress, (APC) position. His party had earlier kicked against the idea of stopping AIT from covering Buhari's activities.
The President-elect said in a statement that nobody consulted or informed him about AIT barring. He insisted he heard about it after the public uproar the issue generated.
“I would like everyone to henceforth stay within his/her defined area of responsibility,”
