A former Niger-Delta freedom fighter, Government Ekpemupolo, famously known as Tompolo, has congratulated President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the just concluded presidential election, saying that it is the will of God.
Tompolo, in a statement by his spokesperson, Paul Bebenimibo, appealed to Nigerians to accept the outcome of the March 28 election for the sake of peace.
He said, “I believe that nothing can happen if God does not approve of it. I want to appeal to all our people to be orderly, calm and embrace peace. The will of the people is sacrosanct and the existing peace be maintained.
