The former Abia
state governor Ogbonnaya Onu has asked Igbos residing in southeastern Nigeria to support General Muhammadu Buhari’s incoming administration.
Onu, who is an APC chieftain, said this during a rally yesterday organised by the South-East APC in Owerri, Imo state, to celebrate Buhari’s victory in Saturday’s presidential election.
He said that the new direction in which the nation is heading should be acknowledged by the Igbos, so as not to be left behind.
He said that the PDP does not deserve the support of the South-East.
