  • Brett Robinson, 33, was technician at Washington County Jail in Oregon
  • She repeatedly sneaked a convicted gang member out of his cell for sex
  • They had relations in control room, putting other prison staff at high risk
  • Robinson wept Tuesday as she was imprisoned for three years for affair
  • In March, her co-worker, Jill Curry, 39, had been jailed for over four years
  • Curry had sex with the same 25-year-old inmate, Jang-Li Delgado-Galban
  • Both women resigned after their shocking affairs came to light last year
The second of two female jail workers caught having sex with the same Oregon inmate has been sentenced to three years in prison for felony sexual misconduct - a shorter term than the first.
Brett Robinson, 33, a civilian staffer at Washington County Jail's maximum-security unit, repeatedly sneaked convicted gang member Jang-Li Delgado-Galban, 25, out of his cell for sex last summer.
Each time, she opened his cell door and took him to the unit's control room to have sex, putting him within touching distance of buttons that could have freed the facility's most dangerous prisoners.
And she was not the only one having sexual relations with the inmate - her married co-worker, Jill Curry, 39, also had sex with Delgado-Galban more than 12 times in a supply closet that summer.
An article published in The Oregonian in 2010 said that in December 2009, Delgado-Galban (pictured), then 20 years old, allegedly broke into a woman's apartment in Hillsboro and raped her

Last September, both Robinson and Curry resigned after their shocking affairs came to light. They were each charged with felony custodial sexual misconduct and eventually made guilty pleas.
On Tuesday, Robinson wept as she was sentenced to three years in prison for having sex with Delgado-Galban - also a convicted rapist - six times last year, according to OregonLive.com.
Her mother, who was sat with a few supporters in court, also broke down in tears, it is reported.
Robinson's sentence is lighter than that of her former co-worker Curry, who was sentenced to four years and two months in prison by a judge in March for having an illicit affair with Delgado-Galban.ns at her sentencing, admitting she had caused 'hurt and humiliation' and put other prison staff at risk.
During the second sentencing on Tuesday, Sr Deputy District Attorney Jeff Lesowski said Robinson should go for jail for six months longer than Curry because of the dangerous nature of her crimes.
He said the staffer had disregarded her training and allowed Delgado-Galban in the control room (known as 'the bubble), putting the entire prison on Adams Avenue in Hillsboro at 'extreme risk'

'For her to have done it once is breathtaking and shocking,' he said. 'She did it over and over again.'
He added: 'Her behavior is selfish; it's treasonish in some ways.'
Earlier this year, Robinson's lawyers had tried to use an insanity defense, compiling a report that said she had been suffering from mental illness that made her 'vulnerable, passive and gullible'.
According to the psychologist's report, obtained by OregonLive.com, Robinson felt flattered by the compliments she received from Delgado-Galban, and started to 'open up to him' early last year.
Then, in March, the inmate asked for a kiss on his birthday. When her manager went to lunch, Robinson released the inmate from his cell and brought him into 'the bubble', the report states.
She apparently thought it strange that he brought a blanket with him from the cell. 'He kissed me so passionately, I was taken aback. I asked about the blanket. He said ''I was hoping we could go farther''. Then he was saying ''we don't have time to discuss this'', so I had sex with him,' she said.

The pair continued having sexual relations and Robinson wrote the inmate a love letter that started with 'Hi Baby' and read: 'You are a constant presence in my thoughts, fantasies and dreams.'
However, their relationship began to sour when Robinson began to hear about Delgado-Galban's abusive conduct elsewhere in the prison, including that he had passed a sexually explicit note to a prison nurse and pushed a female prisoner against a wall and kissed her, the report states.
The psychologist noted Robinson, a services technician, was delusional about the inmate, adding that she has struggled with depression and twice attempted suicide as a teen.
For her to have done it once is breathtaking and shocking... she did it over and over again
But at a hearing in April, Circuit Judge Andrew Erwin ruled the evidence was insufficient, saying that the report should have been filed as evidence last year, and was now too late.
And on Tuesday, Judge Rick Knapp declared: 'It's no secret that I didn't think much of the mental health aspects of the case.'
But he added that Robinson's case was very different to Curry's. He noted that the latter had worked at the facility for a decade, while Robinson had only been a staffer for around a year and a half.
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office first started their investigation into Curry's actions on July 8, 2014, when someone called the professional standards unit to report the jail services technician.
During the inquiry, Robinson's affair with Delgado-Galban came to light.
Both women previously rejected plea offers of three years in prison.

The suspect later agreed to a plea deal, as part of which he admitted to one count of burglary with the intent to commit rape in exchange for having the rape charges dropped.
In December 2010, Delgado-Galban was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison, and ordered to register as a sex offender upon his release.
But according to sheriff's officials, he failed to meet the conditions of the plea agreement, which landed him in the Washington County Jail, where he encountered Curry and Robinson.
In the wake of the scandal, the Washington County Jail has added surveillance cameras and beefed up security throughout the facility to prevent anything like this from happening again.
Robinson could be released in less than two years for good behavior.
