Africans and Europeans with tears and anger protest on the streets of Vienna, Austria over the controversial death of Nigerian Kingsley Echeta in police custody – just a few hours after he was arrested – and biased and provocative media reports without investigation.
Speeches, chants and the way they were delivered had powerful and heartbreaking messages – so touching and sorrowful, especially regarding how Africans are seen and treated in the world.
The fiancée of Kingsley tried to address the crowd at the front of the court/prison in Landesgerichtsstraße where she had been told on Thursday that Kingsley had been released to go home when actually he had died on Tuesday. However, emotion failed her as tears could not allow her speak.
