Mother motioned for a Mustang driver to pass her, but he opened fireShe lost control and was taken to hospital in serious-critical conditionChristiano is expected to survive and police are looking for the attacker A mother in Georgia driving with her son on the highway was critically injured in a road rage attack by the driver of a Mustang.Dekalb County police are still looking for the man that shot Angelina Christiano, 44, around 1.30pm on Monday as she was driving west in her yellow Corvette on Highway 78 in the eastern Atlanta suburbs.The unidentified assailant shot several times at Christiano, hitting the driver in the back and causing her to lose control of the car and end up on the side of the highway.Scroll down for video

'In today's time, I'd encourage anyone to avoid confrontation with motorists out on the roadway. You just don't know what's in that other person's mind," Major Stephen Fore told WSBTV.The driver is thought to have left the highway on an exit close to the incident
