Edwin Clarke Dumps PDP

National leader of the Ijaw nation and Kinsman of former President Goodluck, Chief Edwin Clarke has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former made this known during a meeting with the Think Nigeria Initiative in Abuja.
He however, revealed that his decision to quit the PDP is not for him to join the ruling All Progressives Congress.
 Clarke was a big supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan. He rallied round for him during the 2015 presidential election.
It remains unclear if Clark is quitting the PDP as a result of the defeat suffered by Jonathan during the presidential election.
