A Nigerian-born Spanish Lawyer is aiming to become Spain’s prime minister.Helen Mukoro has already made history by becoming the first woman and the first migrant to run for Spain’s top political seat.And she is hoping her newly-formed party Union de Todos can upset the odds come election time in December.“It would be a huge honour to be voted in,” Mukoro said. “It is still early days for my party and maybe this election is too soon for us.“But I have been encouraged by the support for Podemos and Ciudadanos and I see the people want change.”A human rights lawyer and former Red Cross worker, Mukoro previously ran for mayor in Denia, Alicante.Her policies policies include a clamp down on corruption and a greater awareness of equality; be it race, gender or sexual orientation.
